Safe4Care Overlay Type 112-56

4 cm overlay mattress. Combination of 2 cm pink and 2 cm grey visco-elastic ViscoSafe foam. Can be used with either side up, but is generally used with pink side up.
Pink = medium hard.
Grey = firm.
Suitable for weight 80- 130 kg or BMI 25 – 35.
Two sides with a patterned profile.

Application

Decubitus Prevention

The Safe4Care overlay mattress type 112 is used for prevention of pressure sores and other kinds of skin damage caused by pressure and shear forces. Suitable for low, moderate and high risk patients. Bear in mind that a good pressure relieving mattress can not substitute repositioning routines and blood circulation stimulation.

Healing

Safe4Care overlay mattresses are also suitable as a support surface in connection with healing of pressure sores. Of course special consideration must be given to ensure total pressure relief of damaged skin areas during healing.
